IT'S A...... ♥

This is me at 25 weeks, 6 months. Even though look small, I sure don't feel like it. Today is the day we find out the sex of the baby. What will it be, boy or girl, pink or blue? We haven't fully decided on baby names yet. We just know that if it's a girl, I would like to name her Whitlee. If it's a boy, we're at a lost of words. I do like some boy names; brylynn, Jett, Jaxson, Rylynd. I think I'm having a boy, along with everyone else. It would only make more since for me to have a girl though. You see; in my mothers family, the past 4 children that were born to start the generation first were all girls. So it's my grandmas mom (oldest, girl first) 1st generation, my grandma (oldest, girl first) 2ND generation, my mother (oldest, girl first) 3rd generation, myself (oldest, girl first) 4Th generation. Now that I'm the oldest in my generation, I will be the first to start a new generation and that is why I think I will have a girl. It's pretty weird but, makes a lot of since to me. We will see what the outcome will be today((:

Today I went to the doctor to find out the sex of the baby. Walking into my appointment I felt very nervous. I have no idea why it was such a big deal but, it was! Going to my appointment I had many supports; my papa, my sister, and my boyfriend Drew (father of the baby). I knew that they were all very excited. It would be the first time for my papa and my sister to see the baby. Only the second time for Drew and I. I'm sure Drew was very nervous too. I have no clue how he was feeling, guy's don't do a good job of expressing themselves. After waiting for hours.... it was FINALLY our turn to go in. They first had me come in and then had my family come in. I had the lady wait to tell me so that the father of the baby could be with me when we found out. I wanted him to know when I knew so, we could handle everything together. Once they came in, the lady told us that it's a GIRL!! A beautiful, healthy baby girl. This is The photo we received of our daughter after finding out the sex of the baby. Her head is turned looking right at us, meet Whitlee♥

I'm starting to show, what will people think or say......

This is me, 4 months along. This is only a few days after finding out.

My baby is now growing and I now know, I can only get bigger from here. My body will never be the same again, this will be the hardest part about having a baby. My little bump is sooo tiny, love it. I know I'm in high school, senior year. I'm hoping that the baby will wait to come til after graduation. Still being pregnant in high school will be hard. The hardest part will be what will people think? I go to a smaller school so, that means more gossip than anything. This should be my last worries but, it's my first. I think it's better to worry about it now than to worry about it latter. There have been previous girls who have been pregnant at my school, looks like I will be taking a walk in their shoes. I'm hoping that my teacher won't be downing on me my senior year. We will see how this goes.

I felt like I was a scared little kid, I was still a kid.

When it came to telling my parent's; out of all of the four, I was scared of telling my mother the most. My mother is my everything and telling her that I was pregnant as a teen was everything but, easy. I knew no matter what, she would understand the most. For her understanding, it killed her the most. I think that it took her back to when she was pregnant with me at 17, just like I was now in the same situation she was in. I know it wasn't easy on my mom and that she would feel it wouldn't be easy for me. I also felt that she had a hard time figuring out what the father of my child would want to do too. If he would run or not, he is anything but that. He faces his problems and only at 17 is good at manning up about his responsibilities. We had only been together for 8 months by the time I got pregnant. I just didn't know how she would take EVERYTHING!!! Finally, I told her and yes telling her I did feel like I was a scared little kid. Me being right about how my mother would take it was very true. I know that it is or would be hard on any mother. The day had come for me to tell my mom which was a few day before our appointment at loving choices. I had told my sister Brittany before telling anyone else in the family. She is 2 years younger than me, 16. Running to my little sister for big problems as in being pregnant at 17 was not my ideal of causing problem or trying to tell her it was okay to do what I did. It wasn't cool at all!!! I needed a friend and my sister is the only true friend I had during the time. She knew me and knows everything about me. I just needed her, she was there. After telling her that I was pregnant, I told her I was scared of everything. Telling my mom, not knowing what to do. I sure thought I knew everything at 17 but, when it came to me finding out I was pregnant; I was so lost in every where I turned. That same day after telling my sister the news, I also told my mother. My sister was by my side the whole time. My mom didn't take it very well at all just like I knew she wouldn't I was glade I was prepared for the bad part of the situation. My mom got into, if I had considered my options which I had. I want to make sure how far along I was before deciding what to do. Abortion was an option but, I don't think I could ever go through with that. Not unless the baby was in harm or if it could have harmed myself. Another option was adoption but, I didn't want that for my family, myself, or my child. Keeping the baby was the last option and that what in my hart, I knew what I would do. Keep it. I wasn't sure of my choices til I could find out the progress on the baby first. Once I found out I was 4 months along, I knew abortion was out of the question. Adoption also. When know to follow your heart, you just have to do it. It was in my heart to keep my child. I finally decided to stick with my heart after I first saw my baby. I know it won't be an easy choice but, I'm strong enough to deal with what I put myself through. Having a baby is a lot of responsibility, I can do this. I can be a great mother just like my mother was to me♥

♥A♥NEW♥JOURNEY♥OF♥LIFE♥

We first found out we were expecting on December 19th. My boyfriend, Andrew had made me an appointment at Loving Choices. Loving Choices is a free clinic who help women out, if their pregnant or just anything at all. I had went into our appointment, my boyfriend came along with. They had me take a pregnancy test and showed me around. They also had me answer a survey which was optional. I had no problem with that. They helped me out and I returned the favor. The pregnancy test came out positive. It wasn't very shocking to me at all! I had taken 4 pregnancy test before making the appointment. After that was all over with, they asked me if I would like to schedule an appointment to verify how far along I was. I of course said yes! I was sooo very excited, to see such an amazing thing happening inside of me! Whenever we went into our next appointment to see the babies progress, they were shocked to see how far along I was. I was four months pregnant and had no clue. I was scared, scared for myself and for our baby. Luckily, everything was perfectly fine!!((: The photo above is the first photo of our baby, it's just great. He or she is sucking their thumb. PICTURE PERFECT♥
